Meet Your AAMC OSR Rep's Constitution
Welcome!
As your WSUSOM AAMC OSR Representatives, we hope you find this website helpful. OSR stands for the Organization of Student Representatives. It is the student branch of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). Medical schools affiliated with the AAMC each have an OSR representative from each class. As AAMC OSR Representatives, it is our privilege to represent our class on a national level and participate in the national dialogue shaping academic medicine. Doing so, we voice concerns of our school, act as a resource for students and administration, and contribute the lessons from our educational experience on a national scale.
Our job is to bring our class’s voice to the AAMC OSR national and regional meetings. This means we have a list of our school’s issues (in the realm of medical education) to represent our students. To educate ourselves, we stay involved in student senate, student organizations, as well as our student affairs office. In addition, we are always open to hearing our class’s opinions on the critical issues that affect our futures.
If there are any other things that you would like to see from your AAMC OSR representatives, we welcome ideas and look forward to answering any questions you may have! That being said, we need your opinions! We will be available by email contact at [email protected], via the contact page on this website, you can email any of us, or talk to us in person at school.
